Jimmy JV9 Pro Aqua Review 2026: I Tested This Cordless Vacuum & Mop
As someone who reviews home cleaning tech for a living, I've gone through more cordless vacuums than I can count. When Jimmy sent over the JV9 Pro Aqua to test, I was curious whether its 2-in-1 vacuum-and-mop design could actually replace two separate tools in my cleaning routine. After using it across hardwood floors and area rugs, here's my honest breakdown.
First Impressions
The JV9 Pro Aqua ships as a cordless stick vacuum with a dedicated aqua polishing head - a 500ml water tank that spins a microfiber pad at 210 RPM to mop while it vacuums. It also comes with an anti-tangle composite floor head for pure vacuuming on rugs. Build quality feels solid, and the self-standing charging base is a nice touch - no wall-mounting required.
How It Performs
Vacuuming Power
Switching to the anti-tangle composite floor head, the JV9 Pro Aqua handled pet hair and debris on my area rugs without the brush roll tangling up - a common annoyance with cheaper cordless vacuums. Jimmy rates the removable battery at 2500mAh (7-cell), and I got close to their claimed runtime when using the lighter attachments; running the main power head the whole time did drain it faster, closer to the 45-minute mark they list rather than the full 65.
The Mopping Function
The aqua polishing head is where this unit stands out from a typical stick vacuum. The 500ml tank and 210 RPM spin left my hardwood floors noticeably cleaner than vacuuming alone, especially on light stains. It's not a substitute for a deep scrub, but for everyday upkeep it saved me a separate mopping session.
Pros and Cons
What I Liked
- Genuine 2-in-1 vacuum and mop function that works
- Anti-tangle head that actually delivers on pet hair
- Removable battery with the option to buy a spare
- Self-standing charging base that doesn't need wall mounting
What Could Be Better
- Runtime drops noticeably when running the full-power head continuously
- 500ml water tank needs refilling on larger homes
Pricing and How to Save

Final Verdict
If you're tired of vacuuming and mopping as two separate chores, the Jimmy JV9 Pro Aqua genuinely earns its place in a cleaning routine. It's not perfect - battery life under heavy use and tank capacity are real limitations - but for the current sale price, it's a solid pickup for anyone managing hard floors and rugs in the same home.
